After a while you learn
the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul

It is what it is…
I am sitting in a computer lab. Yet it’s supposed to be another Thirsty Thursday. Instead I sit thinking about LIFE. Not depressing, or funny, just being REAL. Everything that has happened to me through the past year has been crazy. I can’t believe I almost dedicated my life to something I did not want. I broke up with a boyfriend of almost 3 years. For WHAT? To be single. But I fell onto the ground as many would say, thinking I was going to be caught by someone I feel IS special. In actuality, I fell && That is life. We sin SOME and LOSE some. I know I have high expectations, and I let myself down. But, I should NOT feel disappointed for the struggles I face and fall on, I know that I can be ten times stronger && get myself back up. Let’s face it, each year we face obstacles. Yet, obviously we are strong enough to overcome them. HEY, maybe you don’t get what you expected, maybe you didn’t win that trophy you were expecting, maybe you didn’t get that recognition, and maybe no one even bothered acknowledging what you did. BUT, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID. and somewhere in there(your heart) you should feel not only content, but satisfied. You did what you had to do. You should be happy && Remember that life is a road full of crazy obstacles. WE just have to realize how much potential we have, why we lose some and gain some, and when it’s time for us to change what we need to, to continue being happy.
